Team Guinot Aerosuperbatics Press Release

Four Guinot branded Boeing Stearman biplanes will roar into airshows across the UK and Ireland with wingwalkers standing on the top wing. Reflecting the great performance of the Guinot brand, the aircraft will display a breathtaking sequence of loops, rolls and turns while wingwalkers wave and perform handstands against 150mph wind pressure.

"I am delighted to be launching the only four-ship wingwalking sponsorship in the world " says Team Leader Vic Norman.

"Airshows attract the second highest audience figures after football matches and we look forward to promoting Guinot to over 6 million spectators live each summer, working with Guinot salons wherever we travel."

"Our wingwalkers face such extreme conditions that quality skincare is essential."

The first challenge facing Team Guinot is the search for two new wingwalkers to train up ready for the 2007 airshow season. Application forms will be available in Guinot salons across the UK and Ireland and finalists from each region will be selected to compete for the job in March ‘07.

Applicants wishing to land the ultimate in highflying careers must prove a head for heights and the desire to ensure Guinot stands out from the crowd. Great communication skills are essential as wingwalkers attract huge media interest on both a regional and national level.

Tony Robson, Chairman of R Robson Ltd, sole distributor for Guinot in the UK and Ireland says of the sponsorship;

"I am always looking for ways to drive customers into our salons, because I firmly believe that this is the way forward for the British beauty industry. I saw this exciting new association as an unique opportunity to increase both product visibility and the public awareness of the Guinot brand.

When we met Vic Norman and all his team, we were immediately struck by the feeling they were people, who not only embraced and shared our own ideals but were also a team whom we and our salons could happily work with to develop our aims.

Aerosuperbatics have come up with many exciting ideas to get our message over to the public and to keep Guinot’s position as a leading skincare brand in the UK and Ireland over the next few years. And so we are very much looking forward to a long, close and mutually beneficial partnership, but it’s not a one way street. Let’s face it, wing-walkers need a good skin care routine, and they know that with Guinot they will get the best!"
