Age Logic Cellulaire is a pioneering moisturiser in the anti-ageing quest. Until now, moisturisers have compensated and protected the skin against the ageing process with active ingredients that stimulate and regenerate the skin’s supportive elastin fibres and collagen stores. Age Logic Cellulaire is formulated with two vital ingredients - ATP (Adenosine Tri-Phosphate - the cellular energy molecule which transports energy around the human body) and Oxynergine (oxygenating and anti-wrinkle component). Age Logic Cellulaire has been formulated specifically for use by women with mature skin (aged 45+). It is to be used for two consecutive months, either on its own, or under either of Guinot’s other anti-ageing moisturisers - Base or Crème Anti-Rides. Key Ingredients

ATP Production of ATP decreases with age, as does the size, volume and number of mitochondria cells, resulting in a slow-down of cellular metabolism, which in turn causes skin to become thinner and weaker. Therefore, Age Logic Cellulaire contains ATP to compensate for the ATP shortfall caused by the ageing process. It also contains Oxynergine, which not only aids the production of ATP, but when combined with ATP, increases the cells’ oxygen consumption by stimulating their metabolism.

Oxidative stress/free radical damage This aspect results in the skin’s natural defences being attacked. The constant attack from free radicals actually alters the DNA of the cells causing the DNA to become less efficient at replicating so the skin is left susceptible to attack. To compensate for the skin’s lack of natural defences, Age Logic Cellulaire has been formulated with anti-oxidative ingredients - Vitamins E and C.

Glycation
Glycation is a natural process that hardens glycogen and elastin fibres, preventing them from regenerating thus speeding up cutaneous ageing; the result is skin losing its density, tone and elasticity. The active anti-glycation ingredients in Age Logic Cellulaire counteract this by protecting the proteins from the deterioration caused by the glycation process.
